Here at Hollinsclough C of E Academy, we serve both a local and increasingly wider community of pupils and parents.
Our academy is underpinned by our strong Christian beliefs and values, especially the ‘Fruit of the Spirit‘ as reflected in our school song ‘You’ll go out with Joy’.
A key aspiration of our academy is Service before Self, which encompasses clear Community values and a Tolerance and acceptance of all.
We offer Primary education for children from age 3+ in our Pre-school class, through to age 11 in Year Six.
Our teaching environment is split into three class groups. Each class is tailored to promote the best possible delivery of learning, where every child is given the opportunity to develop and exploit their full potential. Each class utilises a fully qualified teacher, including our EYFS class. Our teachers are also supported by two excellent teaching support staff.
If the opportunity presents, we would strongly recommend that you look at our Parent Comment page, to review their thoughts, or better still come and take a look around; you will find that our surroundings are second to none and we make full use of them throughout the year.
We believe that every stakeholder is important and that together we all can learn from each other. Key to this approach is our offer of Flexi-Schooling.
If you are wondering what Flexi-schooling is, the easiest way to describe
We have become a leading exponent of Flexi-schooling in the 21st century and we have been praised by Ofsted, DfE and numerous other dedicated educational professionals from around the country and beyond.

A message from our Principal
‘I can do all things through Him who strengthens me’
We are very proud of what Hollinsclough School as achieved and with our conversion to Hollinsclough Academy, we intend to build even further on those achievements.
Hollinsclough remains a safe, secure and caring environment, where all staff work together to ensure that children can achieve their best. We want all of our children to enjoy their time at Hollinsclough Academy and when they come to leave they should do so as confident young people with an enjoyment in learning.
Our provision is open to all approaches in the delivery of learning. So not only do we provide a normal state school education, but we also actively support parents who wish to Home Educate their child or children and we endeavour to tailor our approach to suit the individual child when possible.
We aim to delight and inspire children to be resourceful, independent learners by offering them a quality personalised learning experience across a broad spectrum of subjects so that they can develop their strengths.
Please contact me via the Academy office to arrange a visit – we very much want you to feel a part of our learning community.
