We wish you a very warm welcome to the website of our wonderful little school, where our vision is ‘Developing Potential and Christian Values within a nurturing school‘, underpinned by Philippians 4:13 ‘I can do all things through Him who strengthens me’ and the Fruits of the Spirit. There are nine of those, and the children picked their favourite three to include in our school motto, which is ‘Growing and learning together with love, joy and kindness’.
Here at Hollinsclough C of E Academy, we serve both a local and wide community of pupils and parents, offering primary education to children from age 3+ in our Pre-school class, through to age 11 in Year Six.
Our school is arranged into three class groups – the ‘Hedgehogs’ (Early Years – pre-reception and reception), the ‘Badgers’ (years 1, 2 and 3) and the Foxes (years 4, 5 and 6).
We are very proud of our school and the children and staff that you will find here. Please get in touch if you would like to visit us at any time, as a prospective parent or carer. We are sure that you will, like us, find our surroundings (we are nestled at the foot of Chrome Hill) beautiful and inspiring; we do our best to make as much use of them as we can during the year.
We are also proud to call Hollinsclough ‘the home of Flexi-Schooling‘. We are very proud of what Hollinsclough CE Academy has achieved for our pupils and their families. Hollinsclough is a safe, secure and caring environment, where all staff work together to nurture, inspire, and ensure that children can achieve their best. We want all of our children to love their time at Hollinsclough Academy and when it is their time to leave us, our mission is that they do so with confidence, resilience, tolerance and a love of learning, with enthusiasm for the next step in their education.
Our provision is open to both full time pupils and families who would like to play a more active part in their children’s education, through ‘flexi-schooling’.
