Maternity Cover

3 days per week - Early Years class group from September 2018 to Easter 2019.

 

Applicants need to be aware that this opportunity is for a fixed period only covering Maternity leave and is open to a L2  Grade 4 Teaching Assistant.

 

The role offers a pay range limited to between SCP 13 (£16,500) and SCP 16 (£17,800) pro-rata to 20 hours per week inclusive of PPA time. This provide a pay range of approx. £10,200 to £11,000 subject to pay review etc.

 

The successful candidate will need to have experience of working with children in the Pre-reception, Reception and Year 1 age groups.

 

The post is offered on the basis of coverage for our 3 core days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday only. These days are fixed and none negoitable, with hours from 08.30am to 3.30pm (6 hours) each day plus 2 additional hours per week PPA.

Candidates will need to provided two acceptable references prior to interview, failure to do so will automatically exclude the candidate concerned.

 

Only those candidates who are actually interviewed will be offered feedback if they are unsuccessful following their interview.

 

Only applications made using the Academy application form will be accepted, other forms will be rejected and the application disregarded.

 

Application forms need to be submitted as a PDF document if provided via email, interviewed candidates will sign these on arrival. Applications can be supported by additional material which should be in PDF format if required and must be submitted at the same time as application.

Governors will expect candidates to submit a letter outlining how the candidates experience and qualifications make them suitable for this role
