Our Summer Fete during June 2016 raised just over £2000.00 on the day; the weather was much improved on last year.

The Chrome Hill Fell Race was won this year by by Luke Beresford of Ripley RC in a time of 32 minutes 3 seconds. The first lady to cross the line was Steph Curtis of Pennine RC came in 14th in a time of 37 minutes 36 seconds. The youngest runner - Dan Soles, also from Pennine RC came in 10th with a time of 35 minutes 55 seconds. Our oldest runner at 65 was Michael Brooke from Cambridge who came in 46th with a time of 52 minutes 45 seconds. Many thanks to the 50 runners who took part - please bring your friends and family next year.

Many thanks to  Buxton Water (Nestle) -  for their donation of bottled water, it was a warm day so they come in really handy at the end of the race.

We have a variety of events throughout the academic year, including our Christmas Fayre, the date for which is yet to be confirmed.

If you would like to involved or contribute to any of our events or to make a one off donation to our PTFA fund, please contact the academy office by e-mail, which will then be forwarded to our  - Events Co-ordinator, (if required) who will then contact you directly.

We are always looking for academy, or event sponsors, if you would like to discuss a potential involvement please contact our Bursar - Mr Malbon via the academy office e-mail, or telephone.

Please see our Academy Supporters web page for details of companies and individuals who have made generous donations, both financial and /or material to our academy.
