Visiting our Academy

Prospective parents are welcome to visit our Academy by appointment, or on specific open days that are held throughout the academic year.

Open Days are geared to signpost all families, especially  those who predominately Home Educate, to the learning opportunities available here at Hollinsclough.

Flexi-schooling is offered at the sole grace and favour of our Principal, each case if granted is unique and individual - no two children are the same, even within the same family group.

Our approach to education is very popular and for the most part we can become oversubscribed very quickly, but please don't let this deter you from applying.

We will also consider requests from our current Year 6 parents* for a possible Year 7 extension if space permits and it can be demonstrated that this is in the best interests of the child.

(*Please note that currently we apply the following to children / families making these requests - each case is judged on its own individual circumstances and is not a right, with provision only available to pupils who have completed a full Year 6 with us - this will change if we aree granted an age range extension to include Y7 and Y8).

Please see the table below for availability and call if needed where indicated.

We are in the process of seeking to develop a KS3 (Y7 & 8) with the DfE. If you are interested please contact the school office to register this interest by clicking KEYSTAGE 3.

Waiting List

You will be informed if a waiting list is in place at the time of your initial contact, or subsequent visit to our academy. On occassion this waiting list can be year group specific.  Please don't let this prevent your application.

All applications are subject to our Admissions policy - this includes applications for a Flexi-schooling - Parents should note that our Principal will only permit Flexi-schooling if she alone determines that it is in the interests of the individual child.
